What could be better than a sunny and mild Saturday in November? There were plenty of people who thought a trip to the Zoo was the perfect idea! In addition, the Zoo hosted a blood drive with the American Red Cross in the parking lot; maybe you saw the Traveling Donor Center when you parked!
We want to thank everyone who stepped up and donated blood, as well as those who enjoyed another sunny day at the Zoo!

Here is just another reason for you to visit the Zoo this weekend – the American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday (November 13) in the Zoo’s parking lot. If you have donated on or before September 18, 2010 you are eligible. Call 1-800-RED-CROSS to schedule your appointment. We hope you will join us for this great cause!
All presenting donors can also enter to win a $50 grocery store gift card, which can be used toward a turkey and all the trimmings for your holiday feast!
